Services include: -

  •    Rockwheeling of new duct runs in asphalt or PQ concrete, supply and installation of the duct and reinstatement with rapid set cement based material. Including the engineering and setting out if required on larger contracts.

  •    Sawing and reinstatement of surface chases including drilling to lights and pits. Reinstatement can be with hand or machine applied materials to suit the existing surface type. Concrete cutters won an award in 2006 from BAA for their design and application of a machine, which applied hot bitumen into chases directly without using metal cans.

  •    Coring to remove existing redundant fittings and making good the holes with rapid set cement based material.

  •    Coring for and installation of any make and type of AGL seating ring in asphalt or PQ concrete using Weber SBD Certite products.

  •    Optical alignment of Castle Castings, ADB, Thorn, Alstom seating rings with our own design of telescope and suspension jigs to MALMS tested accuracy. Other manufacturers seating rings may need adapter rings manufactured to suit.

  •    Concrete Cutters have the drilling capacity to rapidly drill for any size of fitting in the hardest PQ concrete by utilising Xcalibre Neptune coring trailers. Also unique to us we have our own designed and manufactured lorry mounted rigs capable of drilling up to 1100mm dia through the hardest flint concrete.
