Hydraulic Crunching

The introduction of hydraulic crunching has changed the way many demolition operations are managed. The hydraulic cruncher has replaced the noisy and potentially damaging jack Hammer in many situations.

Using the hydraulic cruncher Concrete Cutters are able to remove walls and floors up to 310mm thick, almost silently, without water and resulting in very little dust. This method can be used where reinforcing is required to be retained for remedial work.

For thicknesses over 310mm Hydraulic Piston Bursting can be used.

This process involves a pair of hydraulically operated jaws that are positioned over the wall/slab which is capable of crunching a section size approx 300mm square at one pass. This results in clean, quiet demolition.
